Peter Weir at the Seattle Film Festival

On June 4th, 2000, the Seattle Film Festival hosted a tribute to Peter Weir. This included screenings of six of his films (The Cars That Ate Paris, The Last Wave, Gallipoli, The Year of Living Dangerously, The Mosquito Coast, and Fearless) as well as a "scene by scene" of Picnic at Hanging Rock and a triubte to Peter Weir.

I managed to attend the "Scene by Scene" of Picnic at Hanging Rock as well as the tribute the following night. For those of you not fortunate enough to have attended the festival, you can follow one of the links below to hear of my experiences from the weekend in Seattle in search of Weir.

I would also love to hear from anyone else who attended the tribute. I know I will not have remembered everything from the interviews with Weir and would appreciate any extra input. If anyone is able to send along some scans of photos from the event, I'll certainly put them up here. Just drop me a line.
